PARADAZERO

 

The group Ex Abrupto, invited to participate in the framework of the activities of Parada Zero, commissioned a collective exhibition in an old modernist house in the historical center of Vic. In the street Mare de Déu dels Àngels. The palace, where Antoni Maria Claret resided during his years of study, hosted on May 28, 2016 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. a multidisciplinary artistic apotheosis that was materialized with an exhibition of twenty-four artists. Installation, photography, painting, video art and sculpture coexisted between artists and the public for the 560m2 capable of housing the alluded and beatified. Throughout the whole Saturday, it was possible to see fourteen experimental and performative projects that erupted the former abrupt programming. From 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Student’s Square, Ex Abrupto organized a desktop publishing market where they presented a selection of fanzines, vinyls, cassettes and other graphic materials from different authors, creators, musicians and composers. classrooms To end the holy organ, in La Jazz Cava two musical and audiovisual proposals were performed.
ZERO STOP was an initiative promoted by the ACVic Center of Contemporary Arts, the School of Art and Superior of Design of Vic, Exartvic of the EASD of Vic, Episcopal Museum and Museum of the Art of the Skin. In his first edition he was part of the Capital of the Catalan Culture 2016. He was supported by the City Council of Vic and the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
